2. Nature of Our Service

Akla acts as a marketing and delivery platform only.
We do not cook, prepare, or package any food ourselves. All meals are prepared by independent home chefs registered on our platform.

Our role is to:

  • Promote home chefs and their dishes

  • Facilitate online ordering and payment

  • Handle logistics and delivery from the chef to the customer

Therefore, Akla is not legally responsible for food quality, safety, or hygiene.


3. Food Quality & Liability

Each chef is individually responsible for the preparation, ingredients, and safety of the food they sell through our platform.

While we do our best to verify chefs and encourage hygiene standards, we cannot guarantee or take legal responsibility for:

  • Food poisoning or allergic reactions

  • Incorrect ingredients or labeling

  • Improper storage or handling of food

If a customer experiences any issue related to food safety, they have the full legal right to take action directly against the chef responsible.
Akla will not interfere in such matters and bears no liability for damages or claims arising from food consumption.


4. Orders, Payments & Delivery

  • Orders can be placed through our website.

  • Delivery time depends on the chef’s preparation and your location.

  • Payment is processed securely via our platform.

  • Delivery fees are calculated based on distance and will be displayed before checkout.


5. Refunds & Cancellations

Since each order is freshly prepared, cancellations or refunds are limited. Please check our Refund Policy for more details.
